What problem does the Hierarchical Support Swarm solve?

Single-prompt chatbots fail when customer requests span multiple functional domains (e.g., 'Downgrade my subscription, refund the pro-rated difference, and tell me why webhooks dropped payloads'). Support agents spend 70% of their workday context-switching between Zendesk, Stripe dashboards, and internal admin panels. Customer wait times spike during technical incidents, resulting in escalated churn and frustrated users.

How does the Hierarchical Support Swarm work?

Supervisor / Semantic Router Node: Ingests the ticket and breaks down compound requests into discrete sub-tasks, mapping tasks across the global state. Parallel Worker Execution: Billing Worker authenticates customer identity, inspects billing state, and triggers pro-rated refunds via Stripe; Technical Worker inspects incident logs and files Linear tickets; Knowledge Worker performs hybrid vector search over engineering documentation in Pinecone. State Barrier Join: The graph synchronizes across all worker nodes, verifying that all sub-tasks completed without exceptions. Synthesis & Dispatch: The Supervisor inspects worker outputs and drafts a single, unified, empathetic response covering all points. Rollback & Escalation: If any transaction fails, an explicit rollback node reverses partial state; tickets with classification confidence < 85% route straight to human staff.

Which tools and integrations does it use?

It is built on LangGraph · FastAPI · Pinecone · Stripe and integrates LangGraph, FastAPI, Stripe API, Zendesk API, Linear API, Pinecone, OpenAI text-embedding-3-large.

What results does it deliver?

60% of complex, multi-domain L1/L2 tickets resolved completely autonomously. Resolution time dropped from 4.5 hours to under 25 seconds. Eliminated repetitive manual clicks across billing dashboards and admin tools. CSAT ratings increased by 34% through instant and accurate issue resolution.
