What problem does the LinkedIn Job Search Automation solve?

Job seekers spend hours scrolling LinkedIn, reading endless job descriptions, and guessing which roles are worth applying to. Writing a tailored cover letter for each application is the most time-consuming part — so resume fits get missed and opportunities slip through. 3+ hours a day went to job hunting instead of networking, upskilling, or actually applying.

How does the LinkedIn Job Search Automation work?

A cron trigger fires daily to start the run. The workflow downloads the PDF resume from Google Drive and extracts its text. Search criteria (keywords, location, remote type, job type) are read from a Google Sheet. LinkedIn is scraped for job postings matching the configured filters. Each job description is sent to Gemini or OpenAI, which compares it against the resume, returns a match score, and writes a tailored cover letter. Matched jobs are logged to Google Sheets with title, company, link, match percentage, cover letter, and application status. A Telegram bot sends a daily digest with new matched listings, direct apply links, and ready-to-use cover letter drafts.

Which tools and integrations does it use?
